Role: Data Analyst - Professional

Experience: 4-8 years of relevant experience in data analysis and testing.

Location: Remote or onsite opportunities available.

Notice period: Flexible to accommodate the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive testing to ensure new changes do not impact existing functionality.
  • Design, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and validation checks aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and analysis across multiple systems and sources using advanced SQL, Python, and Excel skills.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues effectively.
  • Document, track, and manage defects using a defect tracking tool ensuring timely resolution.
  • Continuously improve testing processes, frameworks, and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Support test planning, strategy, and execution within Agile and Waterfall environments.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in regression testing with strong defect identification and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and advanced Excel for data validation and analysis.
  • Experience working with a defect tracking tool such as JIRA.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting.
  • Exposure to performance load testing.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
