Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Business Intelligence Solutions: Create custom dashboards and reports using advanced visualization techniques to meet business needs.
  • Data Connection and Management: Connect to various data sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, cloud data warehouses) and ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance optimization.
  • Data Modeling and Analysis: Develop and manage data models, DAX measures, and calculated columns to support analytical needs.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Best Practices and Security: Implement and enforce best practices in data visualization, governance, and security.
  • Troubleshooting and Optimization: Perform data analysis, troubleshoot issues, and optimize business intelligence solutions for speed and scalability.
  • Ad-hoc Reporting and Analytics: Support ad-hoc reporting and self-service analytics needs of business users.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience (2–5 years) in business intelligence development and data visualization.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M language), and data modeling.
  • Database Experience: Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
  • ETL and Data Preparation: Hands-on experience with ETL, data preparation, and data cleansing.
  • Cloud Platforms: Understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
