Job Title: Operational Excellence Specialist

About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Excellence Specialist to drive process improvements for our Global Manufacturing sites and processes. This role will involve collaborating with Leadership Teams and Director Operational Excellence US, Europe & India to develop and lead a performance transformation to enhance operational excellence, systems, and culture.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop Cost Improvement Projects: Identify opportunities for cost reduction through operational efficiencies and implement effective solutions.
  • Establish Standards for Group Manufacturing Excellence: Develop and maintain high standards for manufacturing excellence across our global sites.
  • Implement OEE Program: Track lost production causes and identify areas for improvement using our Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) program.
  • Conduct Diagnostics: Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted solutions.
  • Define Processes and Implement LEAN Tools: Develop and implement lean tools such as 5S and Six Sigma to drive business results.
  • Promote Proven Approaches: Share best practices and promote proven approaches to achieve manufacturing excellence.
  • Mentor Leadership Team Members: Provide guidance and support to leadership team members and motivate employees to achieve their full potential.
  • Recommend Methods to Increase Product Quality: Identify opportunities to improve product quality and recommend effective methods to achieve this goal.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering: A bachelor's degree in science or engineering is required for this role.
  • Extensive Experience in OE/CI Projects: We require extensive experience in operational excellence (OE) and continuous improvement (CI) projects in a manufacturing environment.
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt: A certified six sigma black belt is an asset for this role.
  • Proven Experience with Lean Six Sigma: We are looking for individuals with proven experience in driving business results using lean six sigma methodologies.
