Job Summary:

  • Effective Cash Flow Management is crucial in optimizing fund utilization to minimize idle funds.

Treasury Functions:

  1. Cash Flow Optimization: Monitor and control daily cash flow across multiple project Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) ensuring timely payment of suppliers and stakeholders.
  2. Capital Expenditure (Capex) Financing: Coordinate the issuance of Letters of Credit (LCs) for Capex purposes, manage Buyer's Credit/Supplier's Credit arrangements, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Investment Portfolio Management: Strategically invest surplus funds in short-term debt mutual funds and fixed deposits to maximize returns while minimizing risk.
  4. Loan Repayments and Refinancing: Ensure timely interest and principal repayments for project loans, negotiate loan refinancing options to optimize cash flow, and maintain relationships with lenders.
  5. Vendor Relations: Maintain accurate records of advance payments and Performance Bank Guarantees received from vendors/Bank Guarantees issued to third parties, fostering strong working relationships to facilitate smooth transactions.
  6. Inter-Corporate Deposit (ICD) Management: Issue ICDs, monitor limits, and maintain documentation to ensure seamless transaction processing.
  7. Treasury Accounting and Reporting: Enter treasury accounting entries on a daily basis, generate accurate financial reports, and provide insights to support business decisions.
  8. Foreign Exchange (Forex) Risk Management: Develop and implement effective forex hedging strategies to mitigate exposure, analyze market trends, and make informed decisions.
  9. KYC Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Lead KYC compliance efforts for all bank accounts, stay up-to-date with regulatory changes, and ensure adherence to industry standards.
  10. Bank Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with banks, negotiate favorable terms, and resolve operational issues efficiently.
  11. Audit and Compliance: Ensure timely submission of treasury-related details, coordinate audit activities, and respond to audit queries in a professional manner.
  12. Treasury MIS and Analytics: Prepare monthly Treasury Management Information System (MIS) reports, providing actionable insights into loans, interest payments, short-term investments, and hedging exposures.
  13. Project Finance Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new project financing opportunities, develop business cases, and execute loan documentation.
  14. Internal Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal stakeholders (Accounts, Projects, Procurement) to ensure efficient treasury operations, drive process improvements, and enhance overall performance.
