About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for building a strong pipeline of innovators in technical and non-technical disciplines for Altair Engineering. This will involve utilizing strong networks and creative sourcing channels to identify top talent.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain applicant pools by analyzing current and projected job needs, identifying qualified sources, researching, targeting, and cold-calling potential candidates, managing resumes, data integrity, skill set matching, and tracking.
  2. Filling open positions efficiently and effectively in a timely manner through cold calling applicants and sourced candidates.
  3. Evaluating and reviewing applicants' qualifications, skills, and experience to determine if they meet position requirements.
  4. Designing, developing, and implementing marketing concepts for recruitment campaigns that attract diverse talent and build brand recognition.
  5. Utilizing various social media platforms to attract top talent, promote the brand, and build long-term relations with potential candidates.
  6. Exploring innovative sourcing methodologies and non-traditional channels for finding new candidates.
  7. Serving as a strategic sourcing partner who masters the craft of 'the hunt' and serves as a partner to the business.
  8. Networking through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employees.
  9. Staying up-to-date with engineering and information technology terminology, niche sources, websites, universities, and other potential sources.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of experience.
  • A proven track record of successfully identifying and filling pipelines with exceptional technical candidates, ideally in automotive manufacturing or engineering.
  • Self-motivated with a proven success in sourcing and placing passive and active candidates.
  • Ability to multitask and take initiative.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
  • Well-organized strategic thinker.
  • Ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels internally and externally.
  • Professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.
  • Experience using an ATS (Applicant Tracking System) is preferred.

What We Offer

Altair Engineering offers a competitive salary range of $65,000-$90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
