Job Title: Validation Lead

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a seasoned Validation Specialist to assume responsibility for ensuring product quality and reliability throughout the development lifecycle.
  • This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and technical skills, with an emphasis on process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement validation strategies and processes to guarantee product excellence and consistency across all stages of development.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define validation requirements and priorities, promoting effective communication and coordination.
  • Establish comprehensive validation plans, protocols, and procedures in line with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO, MHRA) and industry best practices.
  • Oversee validation activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ, software validation, and process validation, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy.
  • Perform risk assessments and develop strategic risk mitigation plans to address potential product risks, driving proactive decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance validation processes and increase efficiency, leveraging data-driven insights.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for validation testing services, fostering collaborative partnerships.
  • Ensure end-to-end documentation and traceability of validation activities, maintaining transparency and accountability.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on validation activities to Quality Assurance and senior management, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Lead and manage a team of validation analysts, providing expert guidance and mentorship to support professional growth.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6-12 years of experience in validation or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong technical and leadership skills, with the ability to navigate complex environments.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functional boundaries.
  • Experience with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO, MHRA), with a deep understanding of compliance requirements.
