Senior Operational Risk Manager

This role involves leading and managing independent projects across various operational risk management areas, including internal control assessments, policy development, third-party risk management, incident management, and business continuity for financial institutions.
- Responsibilities include reviewing, verifying, and validating existing frameworks, policies, procedures, and risk and control matrices for soundness, testing design, and identification of control weaknesses.
- The role also involves meeting business needs and regulatory expectations for assessing key aspects of each area under review, including assessment approach, underlying assumptions, and associated limitations.
Key skills and qualifications include:
- Deep understanding of process risk and controls, along with associated compliance requirements
- Very strong understanding of the financial services industry, businesses, regulators, and their roles
- Experience working with GRC tools such as MetricStream, SAP GRC, etc.
