About the Role

The Risk Management team plays a critical role in ensuring our company's stability by monitoring performance and maintaining business safety across functions, products, and regions. Our Controls (1LoD) team members are key contributors to new business initiatives spanning technology, treasury, finance, and customer support.

We're looking for a Business Risk Manager to lead the development of sustainable growth strategies that align with operational risk frameworks, elevating our risk management procedures and ensuring long-term success for our Private Bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, assess, document, and review risks in our Private Bank
  • Design, implement, and test controls
  • Develop and test key procedures
  • Create and review key risk indicators
  • Register risk events, manage and deliver risk incident reports

Requirements:

  • A degree from a top university (at least 2:1)
  • 6+ years of experience in operational risk management in financial services
  • Experience in private banking or wealth management is essential
  • Practical experience in risk identification, monitoring, and controls (implementation and testing)
  • Able to interpret and organize complex data
  • A strong track record of achievement, including competition awards
  • Ability to quickly assume responsibilities
  • An organized and methodical approach
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
