Lead Integration Project Manager

  • • Develop and implement comprehensive M&A integration project plans, incorporating timelines for seamless execution.
  • • Foster cross-functional collaboration across departments including Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Operations, and Sales to ensure unified goals and objectives.
  • • Identify integration risks, issues, and dependencies, then establish mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
  • • Conduct regular integration status meetings with executive leadership, providing transparent updates on progress tracking.
  • • Collaborate with acquired company stakeholders to gain insight into operations, systems, and culture, aligning processes to maximize synergy.
  • • Monitor post-integration performance metrics and KPIs to track synergy realization.
  • • Support change management initiatives, ensuring effective communication and cultural integration.
  • • Oversee due diligence, executing Day 1 planning and execution with precision.
  • • Ensure compliance considerations are integrated throughout the process.
  • • Deliver complex systems through full lifecycle management, encompassing requirements, design, build, test, and deployment.
  • • Possess strong program/project management skills in complex environments.
  • • Demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • • Exhibit analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • • Show organizational agility in navigating ambiguity and change.
  • • Display a solid understanding of business processes, systems integration, and change management.
  • • Apply financial acumen to support synergy tracking and cost management.
  • • Utilize proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or equivalent).

Key Qualifications

  • • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, management, or a related field; an MBA is desirable.
  • • At least 7 years of experience in project management, with 3–5 years focused on M&A or post-merger integration.
  • • Experience managing global integrations or working with international teams is beneficial.
  • • PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification is preferred.
  • • Familiarity with change management frameworks such as PROSCI or ADKAR is advantageous.
