Job Description:

We're looking for a skilled React developer to own rich 2D/3D scenes with React, React-Three-Fiber (R3F), custom shaders, SVG animation, real-time audio/video textures, and airtight performance on iOS/Android WebViews and desktop browsers.

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering high-performance, interactive, and animated scenes/effects using React-Three-Fiber/Three.js.

  • Develop reusable components, custom hooks, and strong proficiency in TypeScript.
  • Build internal tools: level/scene loaders, develop effects and debug accordingly.
  • Collaborate with design/illustration/animators to translate motion specs into production-ready code.
  • Ship reliable code: unit/integration tests, analytics hooks, error logging.

Responsibilities include implementing animation games end to end, building internal tools, collaborating with designers, shipping reliable code, and profiling and fixing performance issues across devices.

This role requires a deep understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS, as well as expertise in debugging skills on safari/iOS, android chrome, desktop browsers; comfort with Dev tools, WebGL inspector etc.

Additionally, the candidate should have experience with Lottie, converting motion design into code/shaders, and be proficient in media handling: video textures, ios autoplay constraints, user-gesture gating.

Performance intuition is essential, with knowledge of draw call/overdraw/GPUMem, texture formats & mipmaps, instancing, batching, cache invalidation.
