Our company is seeking a skilled Merchandiser to act as the key point of contact between buyers and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and efficient execution of orders. As the Merchandiser, you will be responsible for understanding buyer requirements, developing samples, and obtaining timely approvals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Buyer Liaison: Coordinate with buyers to gather product specifications, develop samples, and ensure quality parameters are met.
  • Order Management: Prepare and manage Time and Action (TNA) calendars for each order, monitor production progress, and delivery timelines to avoid delays.
  • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure raw materials, trims, and fabrics in a timely manner.
  • Costing and Negotiation: Prepare costing sheets and negotiate prices with buyers and suppliers to ensure optimal pricing.
  • Communication: Manage buyer communications regarding order updates, changes, and queries, providing accurate and timely information.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), and familiarity with ERP/MIS systems.
  • Knowledge of fabric types, trims, washes, and garment construction.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
