Backend Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Backend Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure that supports our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available backend infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Kinesis, and CloudFront.
  • Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts using Terraform and CDK to ensure seamless deployments and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize infrastructure needs and optimize existing infrastructure for cost savings and performance.
  • Implement monitoring and logging tools to ensure optimal system performance and troubleshoot issues efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Kinesis, and CloudFront.
  • Experience with Terraform and CDK for automated deployment and infrastructure management.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • 4+ years of experience in software development or a related field.
