Job Opportunity:

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of industry, financial, and credit principles. You will be responsible for evaluating deals, preparing comprehensive credit reports, and presenting them to senior management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluation of deals: Understanding the industry and business along with preparation of credit reports including financial analysis consisting of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections
  • Presentation of the deal to senior management in a PowerPoint format
  • Coordination of deal disbursements while collaborating with internal stakeholders
  • Submission of monthly/quarterly monitoring reports to top management
  • Ensuring timely interest and principal repayments
  • Conducting market research and competitive analysis for assessment
  • Mentoring junior analysts and management trainees within the team

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Strong grasp of industry, financial, and credit fundamentals
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Solid knowledge of underwriting in corporate wholesale lending
  • Thorough understanding of industry cycles and financial ratios
  • Hands-on experience in credit report preparation
  • Financial modeling with ability to create, interpret, and maintain models in MS Excel
