Job Title: Data Science and Credit Risk Assessment Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering-led team, you will play a vital role in shaping lending decisions using data-driven insights.

This is a full-time position for a Data Scientist - Credit Risk at Protium in Bengaluru. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Data analysis and visualization to assess credit risk and identify potential areas of improvement.
  2. Developing risk models to predict loan default rates and inform lending decisions.
  3. Providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders to optimize business outcomes.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • 2-3 years of experience in credit risk-based roles in the financial or lending industry.
  • Strong data science and data analysis skills, with proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities to effectively share findings with non-technical stakeholders.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
