High-Performance Data Architect

As a key member of our data team, you will design and build high-performance, scalable data pipelines to support consulting and analytics solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data models, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions using big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, and relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud) and knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms are desirable qualifications. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining optimal Data Lake setups, assembling large and complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
You will identify, design, and implement internal process improvements and build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL. Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring SQL, and a working familiarity with various databases are required.
Strong project management and organizational skills are necessary to support and work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. Furthermore, you will perform root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
A successful candidate will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
