Job Title: Senior QA Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a talented and driven professional to spearhead the testing of Platform products for wireless telecom and cloud-based cellular solutions. The ideal candidate will contribute to ensuring the quality and reliability of these products at all stages of development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans based on 3GPP standards, architecture, and design documents for 5G NR/LTE testing.
  • Design test cases for PHY/Stack algorithms and consider end-to-end perspectives.
  • Create test scripts using available test tools, including Python and Tcl.
  • Build complex test setups according to test case requirements.
  • Develop test plans for LTE/5G NR features aligned with 3GPP and ORAN standards.
  • Execute test cases and validate test results against expectations.
  • Analyze system logs, test tool logs, and use this understanding for debugging issues and identifying root causes.
  • Identify improvements and enhancements for the system.
  • Debug field log/data and replicate issues in the lab environment.
  • Streamline QA test planning and strategy by implementing new and efficient methods.
  • Quickly root cause customer issues and replicate customer configs in the lab environment.
  • Be hands-on with K8S deployment and adapt deployment models for various platforms.

Requirements:

  • Years of experience in protocols for interoperability, performance evaluation, and troubleshooting radio access technology issues.
  • Good experience in RAN (5G/LTE) testing, feature testing (lab testing).
  • Knowledge of message flows and parameters used in messages for LTE/5G NR procedures.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Tcl.
  • Experience in creating complex test plans spanning 5G/4G features and root causing issues.
  • Automation and Scripting is a priority for this role.

Education:

Bachelor's degree (B.E/B.Tech) or Master's degree (M.E or M.Tech) in Electronics/Communication/Computer Science Engineering or equivalent training, education, and experience.
