Key Role: Senior Test Development Engineer

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Test Development Engineer to spearhead our software testing efforts.

About the Job:

  • Pursue innovative approaches to designing and implementing application testing processes.
  • Develop automated testing frameworks, leveraging diverse programming skills to optimize development workflows.
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices and optimization strategies throughout testing and bug-fixing processes.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow engineering leaders to develop comprehensive test plans and elaborate test cases to ensure stable delivery.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to guarantee quality across the entire application lifecycle.
  • Mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering teamwork, ownership, and continuous improvement in testing practices.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience as an SDET Lead / Automation Engineer, focusing on test automation frameworks within JavaScript-based ecosystems.
  • Strong proficiency in designing, building, and maintaining robust automation frameworks, coupled with a deep understanding of software testing principles, debugging, and defect reporting.
  • Proficient in automated testing (including Playwright with JavaScript) and skilled in writing and maintaining automated test cases as part of comprehensive test suites.
  • Expertise in creating test documentation (test plans, test cases, checklists, regression suites) to support Agile QA processes.
  • Able to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for scalable regression coverage and faster release cycles.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Java, and related systems, enabling integration testing and data validation across different layers.
  • Knowledgeable about Agile frameworks, regression testing, and continuous quality improvement practices.
  • Leadership background in mentoring, guiding, and uplifting automation engineers to ensure best practices and high-quality delivery.
  • Recognized for excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
