Senior Manager Finance & Accounts is a key leadership role that requires overseeing financial management, project accounting, and strategic support for real estate business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare project-wise budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections to ensure timely decision-making.
  • Track revenue recognition as per RERA and Ind AS guidelines to maintain compliance.
  • Monitor financial performance of projects and prepare variance analysis reports to identify areas of improvement.
  • Provide financial insights for land acquisition, project feasibility, and investment decisions to drive business growth.
Project Accounting & Reporting
  • Manage end-to-end accounting operations including project cost control, revenue booking, and customer collections to optimize project profitability.
  • Ensure timely preparation of financial statements and MIS reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Oversee reconciliation of project accounts, vendor bills, and customer ledgers to maintain accuracy and integrity.
Compliance & Audit
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as RERA, GST, Income Tax, TDS, Companies Act, and other applicable laws.
  • Liaise with statutory and internal auditors for timely closure of audits to maintain good governance practices.
  • Maintain strong internal controls across all financial transactions to prevent fraud and errors.
Treasury & Fund Management
  • Manage project financing, loan drawdowns, repayments, and compliance with lending covenants to minimize risk.
  • Liaise with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions for fund raising to support business growth.
  • Monitor cash flows to ensure adequate liquidity for ongoing and upcoming projects.
Business Support & Strategy
  • Partner with business development and project teams for financial evaluation of new projects to drive business growth.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis for construction, procurement, and vendor contracts to optimize project profitability.
  • Support management in joint ventures, partnerships, and investor reporting to maintain stakeholder trust.

The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8-14 years of relevant experience, preferably in the real estate industry. Strong knowledge of RERA, Ind AS (115 – Revenue Recognition), GST, and real estate taxation is essential. Experience in project finance, customer collections, and ERP systems (SAP/Tally) is desirable.

Key skills include analytical, financial modelling, and commercial acumen, as well as expertise in real estate financial structuring and compliance. Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills are also required. Leadership and ability to manage cross-functional collaboration are essential for success in this role.
