Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain books of accounts, including balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other ledger accounts.
  2. Compile financial statements with service tax, TDS, and other statutory taxes applicable to the bank.
  3. Stay updated on Indian taxation and accounting systems.
  4. Responsible for all head office reporting, RBI returns related to accounts.
  5. Deal with income tax, sales tax, and service tax matters.
  6. Maintain budget management books and regularly check account balances.
  7. Nostro and domestic account reconciliations.
  8. Fixed asset register maintenance and depreciation accounting.
  9. Ensure adequacy of monthly and quarterly provisions as per HO and RBI guidelines.
  10. Plan annual audit focus and establish time schedules and manpower requirements.
  11. Complete annual audit planning by the end of the current calendar year.
  12. Daily internal audits of cash, B/S, P/L, and report to head office.
  13. Budget planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  14. Capital and personal expenses budget monitoring in accordance with Head Office approvals.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Expertise in financial accounting and record-keeping
  • Strong knowledge of Indian taxation and accounting systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
