International Tax Strategist

Manage global tax compliance and optimize the company's tax position by overseeing international tax planning, strategy, and risk management.

  • Tax Compliance: Ensure timely filing of tax returns and payments, monitor changes in tax laws, and assess their impact on the company.
  • Tax Planning & Strategy: Develop strategies to reduce tax liabilities, identify opportunities for tax savings, and advise senior management on tax implications.
  • Tax Accounting & Reporting: Oversee preparation of tax provisions and disclosures in financial statements, ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, and provide tax-related insights for quarterly and annual reports.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate tax risks through robust controls and processes, manage tax audits and disputes, and maintain comprehensive tax records.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of tax professionals, foster a collaborative work environment, and set performance goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • CA/CS/CMA/ACCA/CFA/CPA or related field degree.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in international tax, with public accounting and corporate tax experience.
  • Strong knowledge of global tax laws, regulations, and practices.
  • Proficiency in tax compliance software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Africa exposure is required.
