Opportunity Overview:
We are rebuilding cross-border payments from the ground up, making them seamless, fast, and cost-effective. Our infrastructure is being built entirely from scratch.
The ideal candidate will help design and implement the systems that will power our payment platform globally as a Senior Backend Engineer.
- Develop scalable financial systems for global operations, including our core payment processing engine.
- Build integration layers with banking partners and an enterprise-grade reconciliation system.
- Design and optimize our payment routing engine to balance speed and cost.
- Contribute to technical architecture and long-term infrastructure planning.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience with Java (Spring Boot) in software development
- Strong proficiency in Python programming language is beneficial
- Deep understanding of database design and performance optimization principles
- Experience working with distributed systems in a professional setting
- 4+ years of professional backend development experience
- Proficiency in high-throughput architectures and event-driven systems
