Job Overview

We're seeking a talented Backend Engineer Intern to join our team and contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge AI-driven applications. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work directly with our founding team to build scalable, multi-agent AI systems that integrate with modern workflows.

As a Backend Engineer Intern, you'll be responsible for designing and developing APIs, data pipelines, and infrastructure that power AI applications. You'll also have the chance to connect backend services to large language model (LLM) based workflows and multi-agent systems.

  • Design and develop scalable, multi-agent AI applications using modern technologies
  • Build and refine gRPC or REST APIs in Node.js, TypeScript, Go, Rust, or Python
  • Connect backend services to LLM-based workflows and multi-agent systems
  • Design schemas and pipelines for structured data storage and retrieval
  • Containerize and deploy services using Docker and related tooling
  • Set up CI/CD pipelines and contribute to DevOps workflows for backend and evaluation systems
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript and at least one backend language such as Node.js, Go, Rust, or Python
  • Experience with API development, databases, or distributed applications through projects, coursework, or internships
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Git, and command-line workflows
  • Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices
  • Interest in working with LLMs and building AI-powered applications
