Industrial Quality Assurance Manager

At Plasma Spray Processors, we are a pioneer in India with 34 years of experience in providing high-quality coatings for various sectors. Our specialized processes include High Velocity Oxyfuel (HVOF), Atmospheric Plasma Spray (APS), Twin wire Arc Spray (TWAC), and Plasma Transferred Arc (PTA). We cater to diverse applications, such as wear & abrasion protection, corrosion prevention, hard chrome replacement, repair & dimensional restoration, electrical insulation, thermal barrier (TBC), EMI/RFI shielding, chemical resistance, galling resistance, erosion resistance, non-conductive coating, and abradability.
We offer holistic solutions by understanding the specific requirements of each application. Our experienced team provides end-to-end support from planning to operations, ensuring that our customers receive tailored services that meet their needs. Some popular coatings we offer include Tungsten Carbide, Ceramic Coatings, Stellite Coatings, Stainless Steel Coatings, Hastealloy, Chrome Alloys, and Molybdenum Coatings.
Role Overview- The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and implementing a quality management system within 60 days, establishing a corrective action and preventive action (CAPA) system within the same timeframe, and implementing 5S in 24 zonal areas within the company within 90 days.
- They will also develop and plan presentations to drive Total Quality Management (TQM) best practices within the organization, establish quality objectives according to departments, set key performance indicators (KPIs) and key result areas (KRAs) to achieve 8 departmental quality and productivity targets, and identify bottlenecks in blasting and machining departments to streamline procedures.
- In addition, the incumbent will collect and analyze data to identify trends, detect variations, and make data-driven decisions through statistical process control (SPC) in at least two departments to maintain quality standards.
- The ideal candidate should have at least 6 years of experience in a similar role within the industrial sector, with a strong background in quality management services. They should possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train young personnel in quality-related matters.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred. The candidate should be familiar with industry-specific regulations and standards, such as those related to quality management systems (QMS).
- An estimated annual salary of ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000, commensurate with experience, to lead our QA/QC initiatives and contribute to the success of Plasma Spray Processors.
