Senior Accounting Professional

This is a key role within our International Accounting and Compliance organization. As part of the India Accounting & Compliance team, you will support Intuit India entities in U.S. GAAP accounting, Local GAAP Accounting & Tax compliance.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and driving the month and quarter-end USGAAP Close processes for a legal entity. This will include end-to-end legal entity ledger accounts close and finalization as per IFRS/Ind-AS accounting standards.

  • Lead local statutory audits including preparation of statutory financial statements in compliance with Ind-AS.
  • Assess risks over accounts and areas of responsibility, ensuring financial integrity of accounting entries, accruals, and account reconciliations are intact and operating effectively.
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain account reconciliations consistent with GAAP and corporate accounting policies to ensure close timelines are met.
  • Research and document company position on technical accounting issues, effectively communicate and present to business partners, prepare a course of action by various teams to collaborate and address risks/issues.
  • In partnership with Internal Controls team, ensure to maintain robust internal controls of subsidiaries and comply with company policy, leveraging experience with the organization's internal control framework to coordinate ICFR audits and resolve any audit issues.
