Senior Communications Advisor Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Communications Advisor to deliver high-quality communication strategies that elevate brand and corporate reputation.

This key role involves end-to-end ownership of client mandates, leading reputation management strategies, handling crisis communication situations, providing strategic advisory and counsel, crafting compelling brand and corporate narratives, writing and reviewing press releases, media briefs, and thought leadership content, building and nurturing strong media relationships, and supporting narrative mapping, reputation audits, and stakeholder engagement plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive reputation management strategies for clients across various industries.
  • Respond effectively to crisis communication situations with agility, calmness, and credibility.
  • Provide expert advice and counsel to CXOs and senior stakeholders on communication matters.
  • Create engaging brand and corporate narratives with sector relevance and precision.
  • Write and review high-quality press releases, media briefs, and thought leadership content that aligns with business objectives.
  • Foster strong media relationships (national, regional, trade & sectoral) to promote client interests.
  • Support the development of narrative mapping, reputation audits, and stakeholder engagement plans to enhance client outcomes.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, public affairs, or media.
  • Prior experience working with clients from Steel, Power, Oil & Gas, or other industrial sectors is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Crisis + Reputation Management.
  • Exceptional storytelling, writing, and presentation skills are essential.
