About this Opportunity:

We are looking for a highly skilled Commodities Procurement Specialist with expertise in sourcing electrical and electronic commodities within the automotive domain.

The ideal candidate will work closely with suppliers, engineering, and quality teams to ensure reliable procurement at competitive costs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement of automotive electrical & electronic commodities such as wiring harnesses, sensors & switches, relays, fuses, connectors, control units/ECUs, lighting systems, instrument clusters & other electronic sub-systems.
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives ensuring best cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Drive localization projects to reduce dependency on imports and improve supply chain resilience.
  • Conduct vendor identification, evaluation, and development for new and existing suppliers.
  • Carry out cost analysis, supplier negotiations, and benchmarking to achieve cost reduction targets.
  • Collaborate with R&D, design, and quality teams for supplier alignment with technical requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance for QCD parameters and initiate improvements.
  • Track market trends, raw material cost fluctuations, and new technologies in automotive electronics.

Requirements: In-depth knowledge of automotive electrical & electronic commodity procurement.
