Job Title: Procurement Specialist

  • Manage daily operations and improve processes.
  • Transactional activities of Operational Procurement (Spot buying/PR to PO/Vendor master data/Helpdesk service).
  • Oversee day-to-day procurement operations within Global Business Services function ensuring efficient handling of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier management.
  • Timely and accurate processing of procurement requests from initiation through to order fulfillment.
  • Reporting expertise to extract reports from SAP as per requirements from Business.
  • Coordinate with vendors for deliveries and queries related to POs created.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure service delivery meets expectations.
  • Conduct timely communication upon inquiries from internal/external customers/concerned groups
  • Follow up-to-date operational procedures and adhere to standardized processes
  • Initiate or execute archiving of contracts/purchase orders
  • Timely identify potential issues and make appropriate escalations
  • Operational compliance on all regulatory, internal/external guidelines and support on audit activities

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
  • Business Experience
  • 3+ years of indirect spend procurement experience with strong negotiation skills
  • SAP module knowledge and Experience
  • Desirable working experience in a Shared Services Center procurement procedures
