As a Data Security Administrator, you will be responsible for protecting sensitive information and ensuring compliance with data protection policies and regulations.

  • Implement and maintain data security controls to safeguard our organization's data assets.
  • Administer and configure data security tools and technologies, including DLP systems, Database Activity Monitoring (DAM), and encryption solutions.
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify data security risks and propose remediation strategies.
  • Monitor security logs and alerts for suspicious activities, investigating and responding to security incidents promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with IT, legal, and business teams to develop and enforce data classification, retention, and disposal policies.
  • Manage access controls and user permissions for critical data repositories and applications.
  • Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning related to data security.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to employees on data security best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in data security administration or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of data security principles, concepts, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with DLP tools and their administration.
  • Experience with DAM solutions.
  • Familiarity with encryption technologies for data at rest and in transit.
  • Knowledge of relevant data protection regulations and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with security incident response and investigation.
  • Proficiency in managing access controls and permissions across various platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate data security risks.
