Lead Financial StrategistDescription:

We seek a seasoned financial leader to spearhead our company's fiscal strategy and planning.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Strategy:
    • Develop comprehensive financial plans aligned with business objectives.
    • Oversee annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles for accurate projections.
    • Provide insightful recommendations to senior leadership for informed decision-making.
  • Accounts & Financial Reporting:
    • Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
    • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Implement best practices in financial reporting aligned with Indian GAAP/IFRS/Ind-AS standards.
    • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and maintain accuracy in financial MIS reports.
  • Audit & Compliance:
    • Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits from start to finish, ensuring timely closure.
    • Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, FEMA, and other relevant regulations.
    • Establish and maintain robust internal controls to minimize risks.
    • Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Taxation & Regulatory:
    • Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance, filings, and assessments to ensure accurate tax payments and adherence to statutory timelines.
    • Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and implement necessary process updates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Professional accounting designation as a Chartered Accountant
  • At least 10 years' experience in a senior-level financial managerial position in a similar industry
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Results-oriented, strategic thinker, and planner
