Job Title: Mac and Windows Endpoint Security Engineer
About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a seasoned Mac and Windows endpoint security engineer.

Key Responsibilities
  • JAMF administration for MAC device management, user identity and endpoint protection.
  • Maintenance of security compliance across our global endpoint estate using JAMF/SCCM/MECM/Azure.
  • Development and implementation of best-of-breed vulnerability, security and Evergreen upgrade processes.
  • Troubleshooting complex issues related to Windows group policy, MAC policy and security patches.
  • Troubleshooting complex issues with laptop hardware, drivers and BIOS updates.
  • Analysis of log files and Windows events to identify incidents and performance issues. Management and triage of incidents with Service Delivery, IT Security and desktop support teams where relevant.
  • Escalation of issues to 3rd party vendors including Microsoft, Apple, Dell, 1E and Devicelock.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert for macOS, Windows 10/11 and Evergreen across all EUC platforms (Laptop, PC, VDI).
  • Maintenance of adherence to security policy standards and ensuring operational requirements are matched in the delivery of services around standards and engineering.
  • Maintenance of support documentation and issue tracking using Confluence and Jira.
Requirements
  • Experience in JAMF administration for MAC device management, user identity and endpoint protection.
  • Knowledge of security compliance across various endpoint management systems (JAMF/SCCM/MECM/Azure).
  • Understanding of best-of-breed vulnerability, security and Evergreen upgrade processes.
  • Skill in troubleshooting complex issues related to Windows group policy, MAC policy and security patches.
  • Familiarity with laptop hardware, drivers and BIOS updates.
  • Able to analyze log files and Windows events to identify incidents and performance issues.
  • Able to manage and triage incidents with service delivery, IT security and desktop support teams.
  • Ability to escalate issues to 3rd party vendors.
  • Subject matter expertise in macOS, Windows 10/11 and Evergreen across all EUC platforms.
  • Able to maintain adherence to security policy standards and ensure operational requirements are met.
  • Familiarity with Confluence and Jira for support documentation and issue tracking.
