Guest Services Manager
Job Description:We are seeking a skilled Guest Services Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our front desk. As the primary point of contact for guests, you will create a welcoming and efficient experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out processes
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and room assignments efficiently
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate guest records, billing, and payment transactions
- Coordinate with housekeeping, food and beverage, and other departments for guest requirements
- Manage phone calls, emails, and other modes of guest communication
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
- Promote hotel services, facilities, and upsell rooms or packages when appropriate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in hotel management software (IDS, Opera, or equivalent)
- Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle guest concerns tactfully
- Good grooming standards and professional appearance
