You'll collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers, and underwriters to develop machine learning models and solve optimization problems.

Responsibilities
  • Credit Decisions: Building signals from unstructured and structured data to identify good borrowers.
  • Customer Service: Automating customer service interactions using machine learning and NLP.
  • Fraud Prevention: Identifying patterns of fraudulent behavior and building models to detect and prevent these behaviors.
  • Team Work: Contributing your expertise to the technical direction and abilities of the team.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience building software in production environments. Startup or early-stage team experience is preferred.
  • Exceptional software engineering and programming skills, especially Python and SQL.
  • A diverse range of data skills, including experimentation, statistics, and machine learning.
  • A deep understanding of cloud computing infrastructure and data pipelines in production.
  • Self motivation: Continuously improving skills and taking initiative to solve problems before they arise.
  • Team motivation: Active listening, speaking up, and asking thoughtful questions.
