Job Description

The role of Assistant Treasury Manager involves supporting the treasury operations for a global travel platform.

  • Assist in cash management, banking operations, and forex risk mitigation.
  • Manage relationships with all financial institutions.
  • Support in setting up/updating internal policies, controls, and procedures.
  • Prepare and monitor company cash forecasts and cash flows.
  • Responsible for all audits.
  • Coordinate with wealth management teams to maximize returns on investments.
  • Minimize currency risk/forex exposure by timely securing hedges.
  • Support in risk management and insurance.
  • Negotiate and evaluate limits, loans, debt structures, and investments with bankers.
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement cash management and other systems.
  • Drive digitization and innovative solutions across O2C and P2P processes.

Key responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, managing cash flow, and minimizing currency risk. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a broader team.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Treasury Knowledge: Understanding and hands-on experience of treasury functions.
  • Financial Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of banking setup and processes.
    • Sound understanding of accounting principles.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Banking/insurance relationships and covenants understanding.
    • Ability to work autonomously and as part of the broader team.
    • Strong client relationship management and customer service skills.
