Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to fill a critical role in Bangalore.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP), and microservices architecture.

They should possess extensive experience in performance testing and engineering, scalability, availability, and monitoring and observability using tools like Splunk, AppD, Prometheus, Fluentd, ELK(Elastic Search, Logstash Kibana), TIG( Telegraf, Influx, Grafana). Dynatrace/AppDynamics/New Relic.

The successful candidate should also have experience in establishing and documenting performance baselines, thresholds, and SLAs for critical applications.

Furthermore, they should have strong expertise in automation across applications/services and infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Reliability: To proactively identify and mitigate potential system vulnerabilities through Chaos engineering.
  • Concepts of SLI, SLO, SLA, Define SLIs (Service Level Indicators), SLOs (Service Level Objectives), and error budgets.
  • Applications debugging and support, Understanding of REST APIs

The chosen candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, possessing excellent communication and business presentation skills.

This role requires the ability to think critically and strategically, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
