Job Title: Business Credit Management Lead

This is a key leadership role responsible for the development and implementation of business credit management strategies that support revenue growth, customer relationships, and risk minimization.

The successful candidate will lead a team of experienced credit professionals, defining and implementing best practices in credit control, risk assessment, and cash flow management. They will work closely with finance teams to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Credit Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive credit strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a high-performing credit team, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to drive individual and team success.
  • Cash Flow Optimization: Collaborate with finance teams to optimize cash flow, minimize divisional credit exposure, and ensure timely collection of receivables.

Operational Oversight:

  • Daily Operations: Oversee daily credit operations, ensuring accurate data entry, prompt exception handling, and timely debt collection.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve productivity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations, financial management, and risk assessment.
  • Credit Experience: Proven track record in credit management, with expertise in credit risk assessment, cash flow management, and team leadership.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
