Job Overview:

We are seeking a Data Insights Expert to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in applying statistical methods, ML algorithms to large data sets for deriving insights/predictions using python/R packages.
  • A strong background in data science related packages like scikit-learn and data manipulation packages like pandas, dask is required.
  • Experience in modeling techniques like classification, regression, time series analysis, deep learning, text mining and NLP is essential.
  • The candidate should be able to analyze problem statements and come up with different solutions by creating proof-of-concepts.
  • Strong skills in collecting relevant data as per the problem statement and cleansing the data are necessary.
  • Basics knowledge of writing SQL queries is expected.
  • Knowledge on big data concepts like Hadoop and Hive is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply statistical methods and ML algorithms to derive insights from large data sets
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python/R
  • Design and implement models using scikit-learn and other data science libraries
  • Analyze problem statements and create proof-of-concepts
  • Cleanse and preprocess data for analysis
  • Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction
