Job Title: Assistant Treasury Manager

As a key member of the Treasury Operations team, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our organization's short-term liquidity.

  • Perform daily cash management tasks, including monitoring cash balances, bank reporting, and maintaining treasury dashboards. Cash management involves ensuring the timely payment of financial obligations, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies in cash accounts.
  • Prepare detailed cash flow forecasts and conduct variance analysis between projected and actual cash flow statements. This requires analyzing historical data, identifying trends, and making informed decisions to optimize cash flows.
  • Monitor and manage the organization's bank relationships and overall liquidity. This includes evaluating banking options, negotiating fees, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee and manage the organization's debt schedule, ensuring all obligations are met on time. This involves tracking payments, identifying potential issues, and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize defaults.
  • Coordinate with global counterparts and banks to reconcile and record activities, ensuring accurate and timely wire payments. This requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex international transactions.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing a treasury or cash management function. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for identifying opportunities to improve cash flow management.
  • Proficiency in financial and cash management principles. Knowledge of accounting software, such as Excel and Google Sheets, is also required.
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Effective communication is critical for collaborating with internal stakeholders, external partners, and vendors.
  • Advanced computer software skills, particularly with Excel and Google Sheets. Familiarity with other tools, such as QuickBooks and Salesforce, is beneficial.
