Statistical Programmer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled statistical programmer to provide programming support for clinical trials. The successful candidate will have experience in all required areas of statistical programming.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Exceed expectations and responsibilities as a statistical programmer
  2. Understand and implement relevant industry data standards
  3. Follow established programming conventions
  4. Lead programming efforts on assigned studies
  5. Coordinate and ensure the accuracy and completeness of activities for assigned support programmers
  6. Create and maintain project timelines
  7. Develop and/or validate statistical outputs according to the statistical analysis plan and other specifications
  8. Apply knowledge of statistical programming to program/develop and/or validate analysis datasets, tables, listings, figures, xml/Reviewer's Guide, integrated summaries, and ad hoc analyses of current and legacy databases
  9. Review and provide input on case report form design
  10. Serve as a mentor to other programmers
  11. Work effectively with cross-functional team members to ensure accurate and high-quality statistical outputs
Additional Responsibilities
  1. Assist in the preparation and review of financial reports
  2. Promote visibility outside of the functional area and effectively interact cross-functionally and in industry
  3. Participate in candidate interviews
  4. Perform other duties as requested by management
Requirements
  1. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Statistics or a closely related field; work experience may be substituted for degree
  2. Minimum of 4 years direct SAS programming experience in pharmaceutical development or CRO environment
  3. Good knowledge of medical terminology and conduct and analysis of clinical trials
  4. Knowledge of relevant industry data standards (e.g., CDISC SDTM, ADaM)
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
