Solution Reliability Architect

We are seeking a seasoned technology professional to join our team as a Solution Reliability Architect. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and reliable software platforms that enable the provisioning and managing of services in a safe and stable way.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to build and maintain complex systems, ensuring they are highly available, secure, and performant. Your expertise in infrastructure as code, cloud computing, and Kubernetes will be essential in architecting and delivering cutting-edge solutions that meet the needs of our business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, DevOps, and SRE principles, with experience in leading capability-building initiatives across diverse areas such as infrastructure automation, observability, incident management, and architecting high-availability systems. You will also possess excellent communication skills, able to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and drive operational efficiency and transparency within the organization.

In this role, you can expect to:

• Design and implement scalable and reliable software platforms using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Collaborate with development teams to develop software for reliability and scale, coaching them on SRE best practices.
• Troubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate blameless post-mortems, and ensure permanent closure of incidents.
• Perform analytics on previous incidents and usage patterns to better predict issues and take proactive actions.
• Build and drive adoption for greater self-healing and resiliency patterns.
• Design automated software and product upgrades, change management, and release management solutions.
• Develop software to automate manual operational work, owning tools and services end-to-end.
• Optimize infrastructure performance and cost.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in software engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
• Experience with administering Kubernetes clusters and managing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Direct production operations experience in a cloud environment.
• Experience contributing to technology and product strategy.
• Experience leading capability-building initiatives across diverse areas.
• Demonstrated experience in driving operational efficiency and transparency.
