Job Summary:

  • We're seeking a skilled dispatcher to oversee the movement of goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Track and monitor drivers' progress to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
  2. Browse, edit, and finalize loads in our transportation management system and other software applications.
  3. Dispatch drivers efficiently and track their performance in real-time.
  4. Accumulate and upload delivery confirmation documents, receipts, and supporting paperwork for invoicing purposes.
  5. Maintain open communication with shippers, brokers, and customers through email and phone calls.

Requirements:

  • Experience in dispatching or logistics operations is essential, with a preference for refrigerated transport experience.
  • Familiarity with ALVYS TMS or similar transportation management systems is required.
  • Strong written and verbal English skills are necessary for effective communication.
  • The ideal candidate should be reliable, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A high degree of organization, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines are crucial for success in this role.
