Transportation Integration Specialist

Role Overview:

As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for integrating and configuring transportation management software. Your expertise in API integration, carrier configuration, warehouse management, and shipping policy implementation will enable seamless data exchange between systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • API Integration
  • Develop and maintain integrations between our TMS and other platforms (e.g., ERP/OMS/WMS) to ensure reliable data flow.
  • Carrier Configuration
  • Set up and manage carrier accounts, service levels, and related options to optimize rates, labels, and shipments.
  • Warehouse Management
  • Configure warehouse locations and settings to align with routing and fulfillment practices.
  • Shipping Policy Implementation
  • Design and implement business rules for service selection, packaging, SLAs, returns, and special handling where applicable.
  • Logistics Frameworks
  • Apply correct HS Codes, Dangerous Goods designations, and inventory segmentation in day-to-day configuration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with transportation management software (TMS).
  • Practical experience integrating systems via APIs.
  • Real-world configuration of carriers, warehouse locations, and shipping policies.
  • Working knowledge of HS Codes, Dangerous Goods, and inventory segmentation.
