Your role will be to build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients, providing exceptional service that exceeds client expectations.

As an Assistant Manager in our team, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities related to commercial lease administration and accounting.

  • Monitor incoming payments and applied payments against each lease record.
  • Reconcile payments applied to bank activity/cash received.
  • Reconcile historical payments and identify catchup payments required when a lease contract is amended.
  • Assist in preparing reports on accounts receivable aging, outstanding balances.
  • Respond to tenant inquiries via email.

You will work closely with experienced Project Managers to conduct projects varying in length from a few weeks to several months.

As an Assistant Manager, you will have the opportunity to be involved in diverse engagements where you will be required to:

  • Support real estate practices related to lease administration.
  • Have ability to interpret and abstract tax information.
  • The candidate may get an opportunity for on-site secondments with Deloitte member firms at their home location.
  • Possess the capacity to review large volumes of data with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Have an aptitude for learning new technology platforms quickly.
  • Possess highly effective written communication skills.
  • Have effective problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise judgment to resolve issues.
  • Possess excellent time-management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • A reputation for being self-driven, resourceful and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Possess the ability to maintain confidentiality of information.

Desired qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of commercial lease administration and lease accounting work experience.
  • CA / MBA (preferably in Real estate & Finance).
  • Basic bookkeeping and accounting knowledge.

Skills Required

In order to be considered for this role, your competencies will cover the broad scope of lease accounting related services, leveraging your professional background and skills such as:

  • Excellent track record and strong academic achievements.
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in use of TRIRIGA software will be a plus.
  • Experience with any of the real estate or related firms providing property and lease administration related services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven analytical and systematic problem solving skills.
  • Advance knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Ability to work with staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Good interpersonal skills - confident communication style to allow effective communication with various personnel.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proactive and an inquisitive mind, with a passion to provide world class client service.

Location and way of working

  • Base location: Mumbai/Delhi.
  • This profile may involve occasional travelling to the client locations based out of their home country.
  • Hybrid is our default way of working. Each domain has customized the hybrid approach to their unique needs.
