Job Title: IT Risk Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT Risk Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

The IT Risk Specialist will be responsible for managing senior stakeholders communication and reporting, developing and socializing potential risk mitigation strategies, driving risk engagement & management and issue identification, and fostering a culture of risk awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and prioritize risks across various domains, including regulatory, operational, and reputational risks.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders, providing timely and accurate information on risk-related matters.
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Culture: Foster a culture of risk awareness within the organization, promoting best practices and encouraging open communication.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in IT risk/audit, preferably in the Banking/FI domain.
  • Industry certifications (CISA, CISM, COBIT foundation, etc.) preferred.
  • Relevant experience in executing risk initiatives within a tech risk function, compliance, or technology audit role.

Preferred Qualifications:

AAPAC regulations knowledge and understanding of regulatory risk management are highly desirable.
