The Pricing Analytics team supports pricing managers and merchants in defining and optimizing pricing strategies. We leverage advanced analytics to forecast and measure the impact of pricing decisions.

Job Overview:

This role develops and maintains descriptive and predictive analytics models and tools that support our pricing strategy. You will translate pricing goals into data and analytics requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop analytical processes for collecting, exploring, structuring, and cleaning large datasets.
  • Conduct data validation, detect outliers, and prepare data for statistical and machine learning models.
  • Research and implement relevant statistical and machine learning models to solve specific business problems.
  • Educate stakeholders on how to effectively interpret and utilize model results.
  • Assist in designing and executing A/B tests and multivariate experiments.
  • Perform advanced statistical analyses to extract actionable insights from experimentation data.
  • Lead analytical projects and collaborate with teams to define, prioritize, and develop innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • 6-12 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering/business analytics/Data Science/Statistics/economics/math.

Skill Set Required:

  • Advanced quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning models.
  • Experience in corporate Data Science, Analytics, Pricing & Promotions, Merchandising, or Revenue Management.
  • Common analytics and data science software and technologies such as SQL, Python, R, or SAS.
  • Enterprise level databases (e.g., Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle, DB2).
  • Data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure, AWS).
Necessary Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A strong understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with data manipulation and analysis using SQL, Python, or R.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience working with large datasets and enterprise-level databases.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
