Software Engineering Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced software engineering leader to drive the delivery of high-quality outcomes. In this role, you will contribute to technology advancement through designing, developing and deploying web-based applications.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop, enhance, document, and maintain application features in C# .Net, MVC, .net core, ReactJs and React Native.
  • Pitch ideas and test new approaches.
  • Manage full life cycle of supported applications and ensure timely delivery of improvements and bug fixes.
  • Support application outages and resolve escalated incidents using sound incident management practices.
  • Analyse business requirements, processes, data and system integration points to determine/recommend appropriate technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with other development teams for integration and deployment.
  • Write and deliver complex code and modules to meet requirements, functional and technical specifications.
  • Design, code, test, debug and implement high quality software.
  • Understand network concepts and terminology.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of architecting and developing integration projects using web services.
  • Able to oversee code development and potentially participate in problem solving.
  • Maintain pace with innovative technologies and strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
  • Implement build process and continuous build integration with Unit Testing framework.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 9 to 10 years of experience in designing, developing and deploying web-based applications.
  • Experience in development of web-based applications using the Microsoft technology stack (C#, .NET Core).
  • Experience with React Native & offline database.
  • Ability to lead a diverse team, providing both hands-on and technical requirement.
  • Demonstrable knowledge in tuning and maintaining of MS-SQL Server, stored procedures, and T-SQL.
  • Knowledge of Web Services integration (REST, WSDL/SOAP, XML, JSON).
  • Solid understanding of Test tools usage of CI-CD pipeline, Kubernetes.
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with coding / design patterns defining & implementing software development standards and best practices.
