Job Opportunity: Senior Software Engineer - Backend Development

The company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team and take on the role of developing and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js, building and managing REST APIs, writing clean and efficient code, working with databases like MongoDB / MySQL, debugging and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with front-end developers and other team members.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Application Development: Develop high-quality server-side applications using Node.js, create and manage REST APIs, write efficient and well-structured code.
  • Database Integration: Work closely with databases like MongoDB and MySQL, ensuring seamless integration and data consistency.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with front-end developers and other team members to achieve project goals, communicate clearly and concisely about technical issues and progress.
  • Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and resolve technical issues promptly, debug and optimize application performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Programming Languages: Strong knowledge of JavaScript, hands-on experience with Node.js, familiarity with Express.js framework.
  • Database Management: In-depth understanding of database management concepts, experience with MongoDB and MySQL.
  • Asynchronous Programming: Understanding of asynchronous programming and callbacks/promises, ability to write efficient and scalable code.
  • Version Control: Proficient in Git for version control, ability to manage complex projects and collaborate with team members.

Desirable Skills:

  • API Security: Experience with API security best practices, familiarity with JWT and OAuth protocols.
  • Testing Tools: Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest and Mocha, ability to write effective unit tests and integrate them into the development workflow.
