Plant Operations Manager - Spirits Distillery

We seek a seasoned and results-driven Plant Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our spirits distillery in Uganda.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth industry knowledge, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in plant management within the alcohol or beverage sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all plant operations, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and warehousing activities.

• Ensure uninterrupted and efficient production of distilled beverages.

• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive production and sales targets.

• Establish and enforce SOPs for safety, quality, and security of workforce and machinery.

• Maintain in-process quality control and ensure continuous process improvements.

• Oversee preventive maintenance, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering preferred.

• 10-15 years of experience in the Alcohol and/or Beverage industry.

• Strong background in distillation operations is highly preferred.

• Proven experience in plant and team management.

• Computer proficiency (Tally and other plant operation tools is a plus).
