MEP Project Engineer Position

Our organization seeks a skilled MEP Project Engineer to join its team. This role will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in various building projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Planning: Develop comprehensive designs for HVAC, electrical power distribution, and plumbing systems, integrating them seamlessly into overall building architecture.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, construction managers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth integration of MEP systems.
  • System Management: Oversee the selection, installation, and maintenance of equipment and components for all MEP systems.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all systems meet relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Efficiency and Sustainability: Design and optimize systems for energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and minimal environmental impact.
  • Documentation: Prepare and review detailed drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates for all MEP scope of work.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues related to MEP systems during the design, installation, or operational phases.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Knowledge: A deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, power systems, and water distribution.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage project timelines and resources related to MEP installations.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Aptitude for critical thinking and resolving complex technical challenges.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in reviewing designs and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
  • 6-8 years of experience, preferably in high-rise buildings, residential buildings, and townships
