Backend Software Engineer

About This Role:

We are seeking a skilled backend software engineer to develop and maintain robust, scalable systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in programming and be proficient in designing architectures for cloud-native environments.

  • This is a full-time employment opportunity for an experienced developer.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Develop high-performing, scalable applications using Java-based technologies.

  1. Design and implement architecture for cloud-native environments.
  2. Work with relational and non-relational databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
  3. Deploy applications on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  4. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is required (20% of the role).
  5. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially using Jenkins, for automated deployments is essential.

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture best practices.
  • Exposure to search engines, Python, and messaging systems like Kafka is a plus.
  • Ability to contribute to both development and deployment/operations in a collaborative team environment.
