Senior Supervisor Role in Fraud Operations

The Senior Supervisor is responsible for providing operational leadership and direction to a team, ensuring they consistently meet performance metrics and provide effective customer service. This role involves managing department projects, processes, and analyzing changes in fraud trends and call volumes.

In this position, you will be expected to apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge of concepts and procedures within your area to resolve issues and minimize fraud loss. You will also be responsible for directly impacting your area through shared responsibility for delivery of end results and contribution to planning and formulation of procedures.

  • Leadership and Development: Develop leaders and their skill set, providing growth opportunities through guidance and mentorship in conjunction with succession planning.
  • Team Performance Evaluation: Evaluate team's performance and make recommendations for staffing, pay increases, promotions, terminations, etc.
  • Process Improvement: Create and execute realistic action steps and timelines for the team with a strict attention to details and performance.
  • Risk Assessment: Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.

This role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience in a Fraud Operations or Leadership role. The ideal candidate should be proficient in project and performance management skills, have effective written and verbal communication skills, and possess influencing and relationship management skills.
